Learn About Your Puppy's Schedule

Introducing a new puppy into your home is an exciting and rewarding experience, but it also comes with the responsibility of establishing a routine and schedule to ensure your puppy's well-being and success in their new environment. At our puppy home, we recommend following a structured schedule that includes feeding, playtime, naps, and regular potty breaks. While we provide a suggested timeline, it's important to remember that every puppy is unique, and you can adjust the schedule to best fit your lifestyle and your puppy's needs.

8:00 AM - Start the day by taking your puppy outside for their first potty break of the day. Follow this with breakfast, consisting of 1/3 cup of food. After feeding, engage your puppy in some playtime to burn off energy.

10:00 AM - Take your puppy out for another potty break. Follow this with a short nap to allow your puppy to rest and recharge.

12:00 PM - Time for lunch! Feed your puppy 1/3 cup of food, followed by playtime to keep them entertained and active.

2:00 PM - Another potty break for your puppy. Use this time to reinforce potty training and provide positive reinforcement for good behavior.

4:00 PM - Take your puppy out for a walk or play session to keep them stimulated and engaged. This is also a good time to work on training exercises or socialization.

6:00 PM - Dinner time! Feed your puppy their final meal of the day, followed by a short play session to burn off excess energy before bedtime.

8:00 PM - Take your puppy outside for a final potty break before bedtime. Create a calm and relaxing bedtime routine to help your puppy wind down and prepare for sleep.

While this schedule provides a guideline for your puppy's daily routine, it's important to be flexible and adjust as needed based on your puppy's behavior and needs. Remember, consistency is key when it comes to establishing a routine for your puppy, so stick to a schedule that works best for both you and your furry friend. With patience, positive reinforcement, and a structured schedule, you can help your puppy thrive and adjust seamlessly to their new home.
