There are many terms associated to our Goldendoodles! You will see the following terms when we talk about our doggies and puppies.
F1
The F1 Mini Goldendoodle is a result of a pure breed Golden Retriever crossed with a pure breed Poodle; low maintenance coat with wave and considered very low shedding. The puppies are 50% golden retriever and 50% poodle. When you buy an F1 doodle from our Lodge we cross an AKC Golden Retriever with a Toy Poodle.
F1B
The F1b Mini Goldendoodle is produced by crossing a F1 Goldendoodle with a toy poodle. F1B Mini Goldendoodles will have a higher success rate for non-shedding, and are recommended for families with moderate to severe allergies.
F1BB
The F1BB mini goldendoodle is produced by crossing an F1B Goldendoodle with a toy poodle. F1BB goldendoodles are very similar to the F1B and they have a high success rate for non-shedding and are recommended for families with moderate to severe allergies.
F1BBB
The F1BBB mini goldendoodle is produced by crossing an F1BB Goldendoodle with a toy poodle. F1BBB goldendoodles are very similar to the F1BB and they have a high success rate for non-shedding and are recommended for families with moderate to severe allergies.
Multi-gen
The multi-gen mini goldendoodle is produced by crossing a Goldendoodle with another goldendoodle. multi-gen goldendoodles are very similar to the F1BB and F1BBB and they have a high success rate for non-shedding and are recommended for families with moderate to severe allergies.
Mini
One parent is a standard weighing 40-60 lb and one parent is a toy 5-10 lb. Estimated adult weight of our mini doodles is 18-22 lb.
Micro Mini
One parent is a Mini Goldendoodle weighing 18-22 lb and one parent is a toy weighing 5-10 lb. The estimated adult weight of our Micro-Minis is 10-15 lb.
Toy Goldendoodle
One parent is a Micro Mini Goldendoodle weighing 8-12 lb and one parent is a toy weighing 5-10 lb. The estimated adult weight of our Micro-Minis is 6-10 lb.
